Hi, I have an audition coming up for a local production of Broadway's The Little Mermaid, and I am at a loss as to what to sing. I'd love to be Flounder. I'm a (short) adult female, though, so I'm not sure how good my chances are there. But it's worth a shot, right? Other roles I'm interested in would be Ursula or any of the mersisters. I'm having a tough time with song choice. I was thinking of "Mamma Mia!" but I know songs from jukebox musicals are frowned on, as they're more pop-oriented. So should I stay away from it? I've also considered "Funny Honey" from Chicago, but I worry it's not uptempo enough. Also, as it's a musical with songs written by Alan Menken, would this be a case for using a Disney song, or is that still taboo? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. References: musicals.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=94&t=93025&sid=297a739beb5904dae8de66a9fecb30fdVehicle Insurance Marketing Examples
